Iran draws with Brazil and Spain in Beach Soccer World Cup

Iran has been pooled against Brazil, Spain and Mexico in Group C of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Portugal 2015 on Tuesday.
The seaside resort of Espinho hosted the draw for the16 participating nations learning who they will face in the group phase of the competition, to be held on the Praia da Baia on 9-19 July.
The full draw is as follows:
Group A
Portugal, Japan, Argentina, Senegal
Group B
Switzerland, Oman, Italy, Costa Rica
Group C
Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Iran
Group D
Russia, Paraguay, Tahiti, Madagascar
The trophy will then take up residence on the Praia da Baia in Espinho, where the 16 finalists will fight it out for the right to become FIFA Beach Soccer world champions of 2015, FIFA.com wrote.
The 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be the eighth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, an international beach soccer competition contested by men's national teams, which has been organized by FIFA since 2005.
Overall, it will be the 18th edition since its establishment in 1995 as the Beach Soccer World Championships, and the third consecutive tournament to take place under the new biennial system, after being held annually between 1995 and 2009.
